Painting #8 Cheery Blooms

I love the cheery blossom branches out in our yard! They're not really blooming yet, but they're getting close! I keep watching the buds swell more and more each day. They're going to be so beautiful when they do! I'm sure another painting will be along when that happens.

As for this painting.... it is a 5.5 square oil painting, on a block of birch wood. I painted the edges black to give it a framed effect. Very simple, yet sophisticated. I looks great sitting on a shelf, or mantle, or kitchen counter, or night stand, or desk.... ok, it would look darling anywhere... ; )

I love this piece. Great concept, I know that duration pieces can be straining...but looks like you have what it takes to complete. Matti

Wow, I'm really going to have to be faster if I'm gonna get my hands on one of these! Keep it up!
